Aliens came to conquer Earth, but decided we weren’t worth the time. Write a story about why.


The day was like no other, visitors from another world. A lone ship landed in Yankee’s Stadium. The players sprinted for the dugouts, each one putting Usain Bolt’s famous speed to shame. The ship settled, a door opened then a group of three life forms walked out and touched our earth soil for the very first time. The Aliens' skin was a deep purple, their eyes similar to goats eyes, bipedal like us, they wore bright blue suits of armor that covered them from neck to toe. The one in the center was holding a strange device in his right hand and placed it on his mouth, then a deep voice echoed from the Alien ship. 

“Greetings, or should I say, farewell. We are Norvarians, we conquer planets throughout the galaxy as a show of our supreme power and to promote ourselves as the supreme beings in this universe. The three of us are known as the ultimate conquerors for we can deviate any life form that opposes us, we are your doom. Now we will give this planet the opportunity to fight us in single combat to prove yourselves to be worthy enough to be our slaves. Will the first champion please step up?”

The stadium rumbles and screeches with horrified citizens, some scramble for the exits, some are too shocked to move, some take videos and pictures, a few are making their way to the field in an attempt to fight. The three alien conquerors take a step back when they see the first champion. A small orange kitten has strolled down to the field and sits a mere 10 feet from the Aliens. The cat stretches and lays down in the grass, lying in the warm light coming from the alien ship.

The Alien conquerors look at each other in confusion and converse in their native tongue, discussing the recent arrival of the small orange kitten. The Alien on the left steps up to the kitten and looks down on it. The kitten gets up and starts to rub itself on the Alien’s leg. The Alien picks up the kitten by the nape of its neck, the kitten lets out a soft meow. The Alien rotates himself around to show the kitten to his companions, they all cheer and rush back onto their ship with the kitten in hand. A loud voice booms from the ship, “We accept the gift of the small fluffy god, we will spare you…. For now.”

Where did the Demon Lord series go?

 The series I had made as a web novel, That Time I Sealed the Demon Lord Inside Myself and Now He Lives Inside my Head , has been removed by myself, from the websites I had posted the series on. It was removed from the following sites: Tapas, Honeyfeed, and Simily. I am working moving my work over to Amazon Kindle as a step toward becoming a full time Author. The Demon Lord series will be renamed as to no longer have that long-ass title that I hate writing out and telling friends/family by mouth. The series will also be re-worked a little and reformatted.

 Writing Prompt  Write about a memory that makes you feel warm Experiencing Dragon Quest 8 for the first time is a fond memory of mine. I was maybe eight or nine years old when I stumbled upon the Playstation 2 title. I remember being in Toy's R' Us with my mom and browsing the video game section of the store, this was before the online shopping boom. I saw the title and cover art, Dragon Quest 8 in this red, stone-like, font, and the characters were in heroic poses in this beautifully designed cover art.
